Many parents obtain the Certificate of Aboriginal Status
cards for their children. There are very few forms of
photo ID for children and this card fills that need in
many situations. There are also people who are proud of
their native heritage and want something to show it.
We understand that many people won’t
be able to supply all of the information asked for on
the Application. Simply give us all that you are able
to. Family traditions of aboriginal ancestry are an
important part of our research.
For those of you who love a bargain
and want to save the time and trouble of annual
renewals, we offer a discount for memberships running
for two or more years. Replacement cards are issued on
request for lost or damaged cards.

Membership Types:
FULL – a
person seventeen years of age or older of aboriginal
descent.
YOUTH – a person under
seventeen years of age of aboriginal descent.
ASSOCIATE
– a person without aboriginal ancestry who wishes to
support the work of the OMFRC.
